Clockenflap Press Room
Part 1: General Terms & Conditions
1. Clockenflap press room is hosted by Clockenflap, Hong Kong Music & Arts Festival.
2. The press room is hosted on Clockenflap official website. The press room is a central point for media to collect press materials, apply for media accreditation and submit interview requests. Terms and conditions for the above services will be listed in Part II and Part III of this document.
3. All applications are made on a voluntary basis. Clockenflap will be exempt from all legal liability, compensation and responsibility that may be caused by the press room and its services.
4. Should it be found that applicants are deliberately withholding information or applying with fake account(s) or hacking into the system to commit fraud, Clockenflap reserves the right to disqualify the applications on the principle of justice.
5. Clockenflap will bear no responsibility for applicants unable to receive notifications due to providing false or incomplete personal information. These applicants shall be presumed to give up their applications, which will be forfeited completely.
6. Clockenflap will bear no responsibility for any delay or loss due to false or unidentifiable information provided by the applicants, or due to computer, network, telephone and technical difficulties or failure.
7. In administering this press room, Clockenflap, its agent in administering the platform or any third party acting in conjunction with the administrator in developing or administering the press room may collect personal information from you and, unless it has first obtained your consent, Clockenflap, its agent in administering the press room or any third party acting in conjunction with the administrator in developing or administering the press room (i) will not collect more of your personal information than it needs for the purpose of administering and analyzing this press room and carrying it out publicity as stated in these Terms and Conditions, (ii) will only use your personal information for that purpose, which may include transferring your personal information to its associates. Selected partners of the press room (depending upon the nature of applications and whether in addition to or in place of your providing personal data to the press room) may require you to provide those partners with personal data in connection to proceed applications and whilst every effort will be made by Clockenflap to ensure the accuracy of any data may be transferred, Clockenflap cannot accept any responsibility or be liable for any loss or damages caused for or in connection with any misuse of such personal information by them, in its sole discretion, that the press room or its services in question reflect printing or other errors which have destroyed or severely undermined the proper play, integrity and/or feasibility of the press room.
The provision of personal data by the applicant is strictly voluntary however in the absence of sufficient information of the applicant, Clockenflap, its agent in administering the press room or a third party acting in conjunction with the administrators in developing or administering the press room and/or its service may be unable to carry out its obligations under the press room and these Terms and Conditions, in its sole discretion, that the applications in question reflect printing or other errors which have destroyed or severely undermined the proper play, integrity and/or feasibility of the press room.
8. All successful applications or passes are bound within the press room’s Terms and Conditions.
9. Clockenflap shall not be liable for any loss or damage suffered whatsoever (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of accepting or exercising any of the successful applications or passes, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
10. In cases of dispute, Clockenflap reserves the right to make final decisions.
11. In case of inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
Part II: Terms and Conditions for Clockenflap Press Room – Pre-Coverage Interview Requests
12. Applicants should apply for media accreditation and interview requests separately. Successful applicants for media accreditation do not entitle to neither pre-event nor on-site interviews automatically and vice versa. Media who would like to interview any artists, please submit interview requests via press room; Media who would like to have access to the festival site and have a general coverage, please apply for media accreditation via press room.
13. Applicants must submit the duly completed application to press room by designated deadlines. Any application which fails to comply with this requirement will be rejected automatically without prior notice from Clockenflap.
14. Clockenflap would try its best to assist with the interview request process but be noted that final approval of artist interviews is 100% subject to artist’s management decision.
15. Submission deadlines of interview requests vary by phases, applicants are required to check the deadlines on press room. Unless specified otherwise, all applicants could apply for pre-coverage interview within 14 days after each round of lineup announcement. Applicants must submit the duly completed application with accurate and required information. Any artist interview request submitted after the deadline of each announcement will be regarded as next round submission.
16. For general pre-coverage interview request (e.g. founders interview), please submit the duly completed application to press room by 23:59 on 3rd NOVEMBER 2017.
17. Any application which fails to comply with these requirements will be rejected automatically without prior notice from Clockenflap.
Part III: Terms and Conditions for Clockenflap Press Room – On-Site Interview Requests
18. Applicants should apply for media accreditation and interview requests separately. Successful applicants for media accreditation do not entitle to neither pre-event nor on-site interviews automatically and vice versa. Media who would like to have access to the festival site and have a general coverage, please apply for media accreditation via press room.
19. Applicants must submit the duly completed application to press room by designated deadlines. Any application which fails to comply with this requirement will be rejected automatically without prior notice from Clockenflap.
20. Clockenflap would try its best to assist with the interview request process but be noted that final approval of artist interviews is 100% subject to artist’s management decision.
21. Applicants must submit the duly completed application for on-site interview requests to press room by 23:59 on 3rd NOVEMBER 2017. Any application which fails to comply with these requirements will be rejected automatically without prior notice from Clockenflap.
Part IV: Terms and Conditions for Clockenflap Press Room – Media Accreditation
22. This credential does not include accommodation, flights and transportation arrangement at the festival.
23. Applicants must be on editorial assignment with media outlets. For those who are not on assignment, applications will not be accepted.
24. Applicants must submit the duly completed application to press room by 23:59 on 3rd November, 2017. Any application which fails to comply with this requirement will be rejected automatically without prior notice from Clockenflap.
25. Due to venue capacity, not all applications will be approved. Priority for media accreditation is given to media providing pre-event coverage.
26. Successful applicants will receive individual notifications by email no later than 23:59 on 13th November, 2017. Applicants who have not been notified for successful admission may assume their applications unsuccessful. No individual notifications will be sent to unsuccessful applicants.
27. Clockenflap reserves the right to reject, cancel or revise application without compensation of any kind.
28. Passes are non-transferable and must be worn correctly at all times.
29. Access to areas is restricted in accordance with the pass.
30. Approved applicants are required to present valid identification in person.
31. All media will be required to wear their passes at all times to so that they can be clearly identified by security.
